The U. City Board of Education resumes conducting regular school board meetings in-person at the McNair Administration Building, 7700 Olive Blvd. (63130).
Board work sessions will continue to be conducted via Zoom until further notice.Due to COVID protocols, registration is required for in-person attendance.
Please see the online registration link below to register or submit a citizen comment for the upcoming board meeting or work session.

For Citizen’s comments to be read by a moderator during the meeting, please submit by 4 p.m. prior to the meeting via the online registration form or emailed directly to shardin@ucityschools.org. Comments submitted online after 4 p.m. will be forwarded to the Board after the meeting.

Overview

The School District of University City is organized and governed by a seven-member Board of Education, elected by the public to serve as the educational advocates of our community's youth. The voters of the District elect Board directors for three-year staggered terms, with two directors elected in two successive years and three directors elected every three years. All board members are elected at-large and serve without monetary compensation.
The Board of Education is responsible for:
- Assuring school district performance.
- Hiring and evaluating the superintendent and delegate all administrative responsibilities.
- Adopting evaluation policies.
- Approving the school district's budget.
- Connecting with the community.
- Establishing goals and evaluating outcomes.
